You also know how cumbersome it is to post to all of those article directories.
A POWERFUL ARTICLE MARKETING STRATEGY
Here’s a powerful article marketing strategy I read about recently in a post on a popular forum.
- Post an original article on EZineArticles.com. As you probably know, EZA gets the lion’s share of traffic and attention from the search engines. NOTE: The sig in this article should have a URL that points to a page that you want to rank for in the SEs.
- Wait for a week or so after this article has been approved for publication.
- Now take the same article and change the sig so that it now contains the URL of the original article on EZA.
- Use ArticleBot to post this article to 50 or more other Article Directories. (Takes <2 mins)
- Monitor the traffic to the destination site
What you’ve done is set up a kind of “wagon wheel” design where all of the secondary articles point to the primary article on EZA, and the article on EZA points to your target web site. The secondary articles are around the “rim” of the wheel; the article on EZA is the “hub”, and your target site is the “axle” around which everything revolves.
You won’t get much traffic from the secondary articles. That doesn’t matter.
What happens is that after the SEs discover the secondary articles, they’ll add “gravity” or “bouyancy” to the primary article on EZA. This in turn will not only send more traffic to your target site, but it will also reinforce your target site’s “authority” relative to the keywords used in all of the articles.
Note that the keywords need to be consistent between all of the articles, directory posts, and your target landing page.
